B.B. is a ten-year-old boy, still in elementary school, who also happens to be one of the best hackers in the world-- as of the late 2030s, that is.

After breaking into a government-use CODEC channel for the fun of it, he found a plot right out of a video game unfolding before him, and it caught his interest.

B.B. isn't his real name, of course-- it's the name he gave Snake to use as he assisted in the infiltration of SaintTech and, later, in the unraveling of a world-threatening plot involving the Metal Gears.
